At Life Care Center of Sandpoint, we recognize that every resident has unique needs, goals and abilities. We offer 24-hour skilled nursing care in order to preserve dignity and self-respect in a loving and caring environment.
Nursing Care
A professional support team develops an individualized care plan by working closely with the resident and his/her family. That plan is regularly re-evaluated and adjusted to meet ever-changing needs. Resident Care Conferences are scheduled and families are encouraged to attend.
Subacute Care
We specialize in subacute services for residents who need advanced medical services. These services may include post surgical care, wound care, skilled therapy services by therapists.
Rehabilitation Inpatient-Outpatient
Rehabilitation is often a critical component of a resident's care plan. Physical,
Occupational, and Speech therapists evaluate the needs of each resident and design an outcome-oriented treatment program. Therapy may be scheduled multiple times throughout the day, seven days a week; enabling residents to maintain daily living skills. Others need short term post operative restorative care in order to return home.
Dementia Care
LCC maintains a secured dementia unit with dedicated staff trained to accommodate resident's daily needs. Activies are designed with their needs in mind to include a secure outdoor courtyard.
Respite Care
Respite, short term care is provided when a primary caregiver is on vacation or temporarily unable to provide home care.
