SUMMARY:Sand Creek Regatta
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to The Whatever Floats Your Boat fun time and fundraiser.  Put together by locals\, for locals to celebrate being together again.  \n\nThis fundraiser will benefit the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce as well as raising funds for purchasing Personal Flotation Devices available to those who need it at our public beaches and boat launches at no cost. \n\n\n	Go online www.sandpointchamber.org to download your PDF entry form for your team. \n\n \n\n\n	Registration is $25 per person on your team. Registration will open 8/28/20\, you can pay your team fee at the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce at 1202 5th Avenue from 10a   4p. Each team member must sign a waiver. Registration closes Monday\, September 14 at 4pm. Late registration fee is $30 per team member\, closes Thursday\, September 17th. \n\n \n\n\n	Staging will take place in the parking lot at the end of Bridge street on the right and begin at 11a.  \n\n \n\n\n	Rules for boats:\n\n	\n		No existing watercraft   must be made from scratch\n		No inflatables bigger than 12 inches\n		Whatever you put in the water\, you must take it all out\n		No minors under 18 on teams\n		All team members on the watercraft must wear a PFD at all times\n		No alcohol is allowed at any time\, especially on the boats\n		This is a non-partisan\, non-political event\n	\n	\n\n \n\n\n	Safety\n\n	\n		Team members should be able to swim\n		Kayakers will ride beside the crafts in case of incidents and accidents (courtesy of Long Bridge Swim organization)\n	\n	\n\n \n\n\n	Racecourse will be from Bridge Street bridge to Cedar Street Bridge and back.\n\n \n\n\n	Awards given   Overall Winner\, Most Creative and Most Epic Fail (could happen)\n\nExamples of floatie things:\n\nPool Noodles\, Plastic bottles\, beer cans\, Styrofoam\, wood\, barrels\, airline seats\, balloons\, water wings\, life preservers\, etc.  Be creative.
