"Diamonds in the Rough" showcases our artists' ability to transform an ordinary"found" object into a work of art. We are such a throwaway society anymore. Yet artists can find inspiration in these discards headed for the trash or abandoned alongside the road. Our artists ...really stepped up to the challenge of "one less thing in the landfill" - some of the unusual materials they've incorporated into their work include tin from cans, cast iron from old stoves and spent oxygen tanks. Their creativity will amaze and delight you.
This distinctive exhibit will be on display through June 15, 2012.
