Chamber Luncheon to Host Protecting Proprietary Information Luncheon
The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce would like to welcome area residents and businesses to the February General Membership Luncheon, February 9 at noon. Stan Birnbaum and Toby McLaughlin of Berg & McLaughlin Attorneys will present how to protect yourself and your business. Come hear from two legal experts about Protecting Proprietary Information.
They will discuss how a company should manage and control its proprietary information. Trade secrets, customer lists, business plans are important pieces of your business. You can learn the different types of confidentiality agreements and notices that can be used with employees and contractors.
Stanley Birnbaum has been practicing law for more than 30 years in Washington, California and most recently Idaho. After starting out as a software engineer in the aerospace industry, Birnbaum returned to school to get his Law Degree. He has substantial experience in securities law and software licensing.
Toby McLaughlin is a Sandpoint native who moved back home in 2006 after attending the University of Idaho and University of Oregon for his Bachelors in Economics, Law Degree, and Masters of Business Administration. He has experiences in real estate law, civil litigation, creditor’s rights, white collar criminal defense and currently practices civil litigation, real estate law, guardianship issues, personal injury, contract, disputes and small business issues.
