Chamber & D.A. Davidson & Co. to host the 2013 Economic Summit
The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce & D. A. Davidson & Co. would like to welcome area residents and businesses to the Economic Summit on October 10th from Noon-1:30PM in the Community Room of the Panhandle State Bank building, 414 Church Street. Every October the Chamber switches out their General Membership Luncheon to host D.A. Davidson & Co. for a special event focused around our economy. Once again, D. A. Davidson & Co. has brought in two prestigious speakers to cover local, regional, state-wide and national issues. Don’t miss this chance to learn about the current state of our economy and what the future might hold.
This year’s speakers will focus their presentations on the recent formation of the Idaho P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) Network. Nick Guida, Founder, Chairman of the Board and CTO of Tamarack Aerospace Group, Inc. is the first speaker at the Economic Forum. Nick will talk about the state of our local and regional aerospace industry, Tamarack’s connection with the Idaho P-TECH Network and he will update us on Tamarack’s progress with the development of their active winglet technology. Jamie MacMillan, Executive Director of the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation, based in Boise, ID, will keynote the event by announcing the formation of the Idaho P-TECH Network and the planning grant they recently made to support the development of the Network. Jamie will also talk about the Foundation’s long-term goals for this state-wide initiative.
The Greater Sandpoint Chamber and D.A. Davidson & Co. would like to encourage everyone in the community to attend the luncheon on October 10th. An RSVP is required and SPACE IS LIMITED.
