Digital Printer/Press Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Digital Printer/Press Operator to join our team. As a Digital Printer/Heat Press Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process by operating and maintaining an Epson digital apparel printer and heat press machinery to create custom designs on various materials, such as apparel, accessories, and promotional items.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Heat Press Machinery:
• Set up and operate heat press machines to transfer designs onto different materials.
• Ensure proper settings, temperature, and pressure for each job.
• Quality Control:
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of printed designs.
• Troubleshoot and address any issues that may arise during the printing process.
• Material Preparation:
• Prepare materials for printing, including loading and unloading items onto the heat press.
• Maintain Equipment:
• Perform routine maintenance on heat press machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Adherence to Safety Standards:
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Properly handle and dispose of materials in accordance with safety regulations.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with other team members to coordinate production schedules and meet deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with the design team to understand job requirements.

Qualifications:

• Comfortability using technology, including PCs and Microsoft Suite required, and ability to troubleshoot appreciated.
• Experience as a Heat Press Operator or similar role appreciated but not required.
• Knowledge of heat press machinery and its operation appreciated but not required.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic understanding of design principles is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift/pull/push up to 50lbs, and able to work on your feet for up to 8 hours per day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
